It disgusts me how people can go on about their day without having the slightest bit of concern for the thousands of men, women, and children dying every single day. While you get to wake up to the sound of birds chirping, Palestinian kids have to wake up to the sound of missiles dropping over their heads at unexpected times. Your privilege is screaming, yet you can't hear it.

Recently, I have seen more videos about why Avantika Vandanapu (an Indian American actress) should not play Rapunzel in the live-action movie. It perplexes me how a society can be more perturbed over a rumor than over people actively fighting for their lives every single day. On average, the Israeli military kills 250 Palestinians per day. This study was done on January 11, 2024, and only counts those reported as dead. Many more are missing under the rubble caused by explosions, dead from starvation, and disease.

If these numbers and facts don't scare you, then I don't know what to say. You need to wake up and realize that you hold the power to change things. The people in Palestine don't have a voice and cannot advocate for themselves. We have a voice, so why aren't you using it?
